London, England

After our stay in Plakias, we took the buses back to Heraklion, and then flew Heraklion-Athens, Athens-London Heathrow. As soon as we landed in jolly good England, we were harassed by some jerk at customs, which was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how much England sucks. As beautiful as the city is, the sheer cost, coupled with the constant government surveillance via CCTV, and the custom officer at the airport, made it very undesirable for myself. Danielle found it more tolerable than I, but for me, I wouldn't return to a city that doesn't trust it's citizens, or feels the need to harass members of its own Commonwealth.

Despite my problems with the city, I did enjoy the stay. While we were only there for three days, we got in quite a few of the main sights, as well as went to The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre.
